Hirao Dai

My daughter and I went to Hirao Dai, or Hirao “High Plateau” on Monday.

It’s an interesting place with unusual calcified rock formation all over the hills. After we clambered around for hours, we drove down into a ravine and walked through a cave. The cave went on forever, and was lighted for the first 900 meters. We encountered several bats on the way out. One of them was headed straight for me, so I ducked, and daughter Elizabeth, who was right behind me got a mouthful of bat wing. I guess she was pretty alarmed.

Here’s a quick video collage of some snapshots we took.
