Elephants in Love and Internet Marketing

Gmail was down for me here in Japan this morning, so there was no sense placing ads on my safelist, or even doing a blast to my email lists. (Yes I DO still use safelists. But NO I don’t surf for credits. The upgraded versions of some of the larger lists are really quite effective. Here’s a list of my favorites.)

So I decided to work on my blog. First stop, Bling for inspiration. No need to stay mucking around in internet marketing blogs. I looked up elephants. First thing that caught my eye was this - which is perfectly ok to swipe, since it’s been on Reuters.

elephantsNow what could two very clever elephants in love have to do with internet marketing? Everything actually. Why are spending hours each day trying to squeeze an extra dollar or two from your laptop? I bet your thoughts don’t wander far before someone else’s wellbeing comes to mind. I want to send my daughter to a private college, and enable her dream of spending a season in Greece writing children’s books. I want her to be able to quit her part time work (which isn’t at all part time) so she can paint and write to her heart’s content.

There’s a huge danger in pursuing this type of dream online, though. I’m on here for love, but it’s easy to get so welded to the computer that I don’t have time to show my love to people around me NOW. I hope you don’t fall into this trap. Studies have shown that people who have a life offline are more effective online as well. There’s no need to make your loved ones live without you altogether. Take some time to let them know you are still there for them today.

What else does this photo have to do with marketing? Well, if you happen to be involved in Send Out Cards, this one is definitely a winner for valentines day, as well as a simple “I love you most of all even IF it seems I’m married to the computer” message for that very special someone. Send Out Cards is such a warm and human way to make money online. Check it out.

  • What a wonderful article Debbie :)

  • It exists like this, a customer seeks for a keyword on Google. You have published an article which targets this phrase and make submitted it to a internet site which Google likes. The customer gets your clause on page one, shows it, clicks on your internet site link, and calls your website. All going well, you will have some affiliate link click-throughs, and special sales in there! That’s the beauty of affiliate marketing.

  • my small home business which sells health juice use a lot of internet marketing to promote our products. we use facebook plus adwords advertising and we have also created a forum for existing customers. Internet marketing really helps boosts the sales of our small home business.

  • Greetings from Portland! I found that really interesting. Thanks for the site. I will be back to check for more updates very soon.
